Fireside jazz is a precise description of singer-songwriter CeCe Gable's music.  Her single "Once Again It's Winter" is a collaboration she did with pianist/accordionist/composer/arranger Corky Bennett. While Bennett wrote the music, Gable wrote the lyrics and sang the tune.  The verses are primarily based on her experiences while living in Vermont, a transitional phase in her life that left an indelible mark in her memory, which she shares in the song.

The elegant phrasing of Akio Sasajima's guitar chords imbue a bossa nova flare strewn across the track, producing a balmy atmosphere around Gable's soothing tone.  The music is both airy and earthy as bassist Harvie S and drummer Andrew Heglund infuse gently rolling knolls along the melody.  The intimacy Gable creates with the audience results in a cozy, fireside ambience.

The single follows her 4th full length recording More Than a Song, a collection of covers of 10 jazz standards.  Her repertoire spans generations of jazz, presenting a diverse catalog from Sondheim and Weil to Monk and Gershwin.  She is best known for her interpretation of songs from the Great American Songbook.  Her music puts listeners in the setting of lounging back while watching the embers of a fireplace flicker, soaking in one's wandering thoughts.

Musicians:
CeCe Gable - vocals
Akio Sasajima - guitar
Harvie S - bass
Andrew Heglund - drums and percussion
