Tuesday's Child, released from Dark Delishious Music, is comprised of nine original compositions written and performed by veteran reed player Robert Kyle and pianist-vocalist Alyse Korn. The songs are lyrical expressions, partnering smooth jazz with Latin swing, ambient aesthetics, and American soul and blues.  Accompanied by Kevin Winard on drums and percussion, Hussain Jiffry and Ahmet Turkmenoglu on bass, and Leonice Shinneman on tabla, each track emanates peace and harmony from every fiber.

Kyle's saxophone soliloquy ruminates with a meditative slant in "Your Light," ebbing as Korn's breezy keystrokes amble softly along the melodic course.  The track incites quiet introspection, giving the listener some alone time with private thoughts.  The upbeat stride in Kyle's sax sauntering with a leisure step across "Distance Between Us" is a track written by Korn.  The soulful musings promulgate a serenity that seeps into the aural senses.

The balladry swells cruising along “Tuesday’s Child” capitalize the warm and caressing discourse.  A tune that Kyle wrote for Korn, the comfy aesthetics envelope the listener in blissful sonorous.  The following track "Winter" bolsters a bossa nova swagger that segues into the bluesy shades of "Blue Jack," featuring Turkmenoglu’s bass, which accentuates the reflective vibe of the track.

The Latin swing embers of “Vivian’s Danzón” is written in the Cuban Danzón style.  The melody is garbed in the tender grooves of Jiffry's baby bass as Korn's keys glisten a samba-like luster.  "Ruby's Dream" is catacombed by Shinneman's tabla while Kyle's reeds flicker and glimmer with a lyrical phrasing that charms and enchants the listener.

The music moves with a harmonious flux that puts listeners at ease.  The lyrical expressions and calmly discourse lull the listener into a peaceful state of mind.  Coalescing elements of smooth jazz, Latin swing, ambient aesthetics, and American soul and blues culminate into a beautiful picture.
